Thought Leadership
Building reputations requires proactive communications, and Integer works with professionals to enhance their business development goals with media relations, content development, and media training. We understand time is limited and that business development functions are often backburnered. We jump in immediately and start building reputations that catch the attention of potential clients.
Our work includes positioning leaders for media interviews, arranging bylined articles and op-eds, and helping build and maintain relationships with journalists at national, local, regional, and trade media outlets. We also help find and secure speaking engagements and panel opportunities.
Our content work includes developing nominations for awards and recognitions, as well as Chambers submissions, which are long considered the gold standard of legal directories. We take a structured, strategic approach to submissions, capturing researchers’ interest with clear, informed writing while minimizing the time commitment for attorneys.
Proven Track Record
Integer is led by a seasoned PR professional with a background in legal marketing and communications. We have counseled thousands of professionals over 20-plus years through crisis, media relations, and marketing opportunities.
Chambers & Partners consistently ranks our leadership in its Crisis PR & Communications and Litigation Support guides. Chambers’ research is considered among the most rigorous and trusted benchmarks for lawyers and the professionals who help them support their clients. In 2024 and 2025, our founder, Monica Smith, was named among Lawdragon’s 100 Global Leaders in Legal Strategy & Consulting, and in 2025, she was selected for Law360’s Editorial Advisory Board for the Legal Industry.
At Integer, we are your strategic partner, dedicated to helping you navigate the complexities of communication with authenticity, clarity, and integrity. Trust us to guide you through challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and build a reputation that stands out in today’s dynamic business environment.
What Clients Say
At Integer, we measure our success by the trust and relationships we build along the way. We’re incredibly grateful for the clients who have become long-term partners and friends. The most rewarding part of our work isn’t the media results or crisis response strategies – it’s the collaboration behind them.
Here’s what some of those partners have shared about working with us.
“You really did so much for me during the most challenging chapter of my life – and my organization’s. You captured my voice during this time and helped me to be a better leader during our worst days of crisis. I truly appreciate it!”
“Thanks again for your help with the article. We just had a really encouraging development. Someone who read the piece reached out about our ideas. We’re now sharing more information about our services and are optimistic about moving forward with the opportunity. It’s exciting to see this kind of response directly tied to our thought leadership!”
“I’ve worked with PR at my prior two firms and never had this level of assistance. If we had gold stars, I’d give you one! Thanks for all of your great work. I really appreciate it.”
“t’s been so cool to see how our marketing efforts have taken off after years in the making. The visibility we’re getting is incredible. Integer has done a fantastic job identifying and creating opportunities for us, including attracting attention from high-profile journalists. It’s a perfect example of how one smart marketing move can create a ripple effect across our brand. We’re thrilled with the momentum—and excited for what’s next!”
“The feature you helped us land in our local business magazine led to a new client! A business owner reached out for help with a sensitive legal issue involving a former employee who had started a competing business. The client mentioned that while speaking with someone in a completely unrelated setting, they were referred to the article after the person had read it in a waiting room. That connection prompted the outreach. Just incredible to see how visibility like this turns into real opportunities. Huge thanks for making it happen!”
“Thank you again for your help on this project! Since the article was published, we’ve already had interest from someone closely connected to the organizations mentioned. They reached out directly to express appreciation for the piece, and we’re hopeful this will lead to further conversations. We’re excited to see engagement happening so quickly.”
